2. i could give you a two cent idea: a japanese traditional room divider, Shoji. based on patterns you make, a translucent screen would create a wonderful shadow, and the shadow would enjoy dancing on a floor, wall and ceiling dependent on a slide by users as well as time and space…i’m really curious to see a difference btw before and after sliding. you could also operate the effect btw the single and double skin beforehand…many might echo your thought on it!

   いいアイデア、いただきます。
   この屏風もそうなのですが、コンセプトを実現するための素材の開発が重要な課題です。
   ある美術印刷会社が独自に開発した和紙調メディアによるのインクジェット印刷です。非常にマットな質感にも関わらず鮮やかの色、高いコントラストなど満足いく仕上がりでした。
   障子もそういう面では非常に面白いものになりそうです。ありそうなものとしては透過フィルムメディアに印刷、ワーロンでサンドイッチという感じでしょうが、ほかにもいい方法があるかもしれません。

4. 建築に絵画を挿入する方法に大変興味があります。
   屏風、障子、ふすまなど空間に境界を引く装置が絵画と親密であることにあらためて気がつきました。私の作品もそこに近づいていくべきだと今は思っています。

   As you know, Petra Blaisse would be one of the designers on this issue… Soft absorbent elements such as curtains, wallpapers, and carpets could become significant devices / surfaces to melt space: ephemeral environments. In this sense, a Japanese traditional divider could be reconsidered and, it sure is, take some positions in this field by superimposing palla’s wonderful world! As a result, the Japanese divider itself would be also forced to be transformed into an unexpected figure: Shoji with a full-height from a floor to a ceiling or with a heterogeneous wooden framework making some synergy with patterns you make, etc…

7. やわらかいメディアによる変形。おもしろいですね。それと境界と絵画と建築の関係が非常にクリアにあぶりだされていますね。
   屏風ですが、描かれているものが折れ曲がること自体、なぜだかおもしろい。それに折り畳んで持ち運び、さっと広げて鑑賞する。。その行為がなんだかおもしろいのです。なんででしょうね。
   障子の効果は前回の奈良の展示で感じたことに大変近いものです。

   帯状の連作は空間を前後に少しずつずらして配置したので、歩きながら鑑賞すると作品の中の空間が動的にすこし歪むように感じられました。（残念ながら先のリンクのvideoではよくわからないと思います。。）
