Many recent items here feature zebra striping and strong contrasts in building articulation, which apparently is similar to venetian blind pattern, though of course with blinds, sometimes directional light is modulated as it passes through, creating a striped pattern wherever it falls. Although this aspect isn’t true of zebra striping or striped patterned building treatment, perhaps these patterns make notably strong spatial assertions such as pedestrian-safe zone in the case of paving, and zone of human enterprise or habitation in the case of buildings.

mmmm…impressive comment…I can’t compare such venetian and such realistic environment in which we live.
I simply feel a kind of foromation of our dimnamic environment and it may be the feature of the contemporary architecture…

    nice suggestion, Toph.
It is important to look through the slit like a venetian blind, what is there, something another world.
