Shocking and so interesting…
It seems to me that taking a time and history in the photo is most important factor, because it has to hold too many memorable stories beyond our imagination.
Little details like the ground of a place are often left undocumented.I would like to see photos of seemingly unsignificant details like this from 100 years ago.

I think that seemingly unsignificant details are held lots of historical stories indeed. When taking photos of limited objects, it is took more definite.
An insignificant detail from 100 years ago would probably look as boring (or interesting) as an insignificant detail from yesterday or today. But I think traces are an imteresting subject for photography. I like the idea of overlaying images; photographs of different places or of the same place but at different times. Joan Fontcuberta http://…/ is one photographer who has attempted this using a technique based on the idea of a palimpsest http://…/ There’s lots of other people who’ve done similar things.. I need to think of some good examples.

Joan Fontcuberta’s works might show proof of unlimited photography expression.
